Working in the stores and supplies section, you will be responsible for managing a small team to ensure the
Service is delivered which is customer focused and achieves the requirements of the Council’s financial plans and priorities including liaising directly with Service Managers and manufacturers to identify the optimum specification for Highways materials, PPE, Vehicle parts, consumables and general supplies.
Assist in determining the procurement strategy for fleet parts and service specific supplies and materials.
Responsible for assessing quality & suitability of stores stock items, identifying, sourcing and recommending alternative products.
You must have strong organisational and time management skills and be able to work under pressure.
