The Job Role
The Talent The Sales and Marketing Manager will overlook all activities relating to the sales and marketing of services the company provides through lead generation, working closely with the technical team to qualify said leads and successfully close sales on commercially profitable terms.

The Talent
Due to the senior nature of the role I am looking for candidates with a breadth of successful strategy and pipeline planning through consultative sales ideally within the technical sector. You must have proven experience of leading a strong sales team and be able to identify solid leads and credible clients to maximize annual business turnover.
This role will require the candidate to understand the crucial manner in which patience and efficient delegation of planning processes will impact individual client needs, and be able to report back to the Board to articulate any changes needed to meet current or future client needs.

A strong sector awareness of the sector will be vital and you will be called upon to monitor competitor activity and ensure that correct marketing and communication is in place to stay ahead of the competition.

Whilst overseeing the marketing activities of the company you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the visual presence of the company’s website along with print and social media content and be able to advise on any successes and areas of improvement through obtaining relevant feedback and statistical data.



Key Skills Required:

Ten years plus in a technical service based environment with 5 years minimum in a senior supervisory position
Excellent sales and marketing skills
Strong negotiator with consultative sales experience
Able to motivate and lead a sales team
Impeccable time management
Experience of dealing with challenging clients at a senior level
Advanced knowledge of selling processes
Excellent written and verbal communicator
Personal resilience
Leading and working effectively as part of a team
Be sales driven and commercially focused
