The Job Role
This important role is to provide strategic advice and guidance to fee earners responsible for increasing business within the firm by securing and increasing more profitable work from existing referrers and targeted prospects.
The KPIs will align with those of the Partners and fee earners tasked with developing the business.
Strategic and tactical plans must contribute towards the National BD plans for each area. Using market intelligence and shared information the BD Executive (with fee earners) must ensure close monitoring, recording, tracking and feedback relating to market and client activity as well as management of budgets.
The importance of ROI must be understood by all and performance will be measured and reviewed on a regular basis to ensure effective and efficient use of resources.

The perfect candidate will be self-drive, proactive and tenacious with the enthusiasm to drive the strategic objectives forward
Building relationships within this role is vital so the candidate will need to be a confident, professional ‘people person’
Someone who enjoys variety as the role with involve a mixture of account management, building relationships, marketing and reporting
An understanding of the legal sector would be a preference but not essential
