We are a very successful (not to mention award winning) housing provider, managing homes on behalf of Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council. Right now, we’re looking for a Mobile Boiler Operator to ensure that our tenants receive a first class service.
Working a shift rota and reporting to the Commercial Heating Manager, you’ll be part of a team making sure premises’ boilers are checked daily. You’ll also record meter and gauge readings, as well as testing emergency lighting systems, fire alarms and taking water samples for compliance purposes. It will also be part of your daily duties to order fuel and arrange delivery.
You’ll need experience with commercial boilers and a background maintaining heating equipment. It is essential you have good Health and Safety knowledge, great communication skills and team focus. City & Guilds Boiler Operators Certificate or equivalent would be desirable.
