We are looking for a Project Manager to help us deliver a range of physical regeneration projects to include assisting in the development of the project idea, preparation of a business case continuing through the stages of planning and procurement of works to delivery of works contracts on the ground.
You will coordinate the activities of multi-disciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed programme timetables and budgets. You will monitor projects and provide performance information on a regular basis highlighting options and opportunities to correct variance.
The work includes working in conjunction and partnership with council departments, other stakeholders, Registered Providers and private sector partners. You will also engage with residents and other customers to ensure their views are taken into account in development of solutions.
Possess Level 4 or above of a Chartered Institute of Housing or equivalent qualification or have experience of and a good understanding of project management involving Housing Regeneration and or the physical construction / refurbishment of homes.
Have the ability to construct and present a sound business case for projects and the components of the financial elements required to enable a project to proceed.
Be able to think strategically and able to contribute innovative ideas and solutions, to further the aims of the team and organisation in the service of the community.
Have the ability to problem solve, plan and make decisions to overcome barriers / issues effectively to ensure projects progress.
