We have an excellent opportunity for someone that’s enthusiastic and motivated to join our communications and marketing team as a digital communications apprentice.

You’ll be responsible for connecting with our customers through our online channels by:

Helping to update and maintain the council’s website, intranet, and social media accounts.

Creating engaging written and visual content including filming and editing videos, taking photos and producing infographics.

Working with colleagues to develop effective communications and marketing campaigns.

We are looking for someone that is creative, forward thinking and innovative, with great written and verbal communication skills.
You will need to be customer focused with a professional outlook,and committed to your own personal development.


As part of your role you will complete an 18-month Level 3 Digital Marketing apprenticeship, which provides training for all elements of the job.
You will be supported on the job and receive in-house training to become an experienced digital communications professional.
