This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and resilient individual to join an expanding Housing Options team responsible for the Allocation of council accommodation, provision of adaptations and the prevention of homelessness.
We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic individual to be part of our busy Housing Options Service based in Chesterfield Town Centre. You will be the first point of contact for people applying for council housing or those presenting with housing need.
With practical experience of working in a customer facing role, preferably in a Housing related environment, you will be required to offer advice and support to members of the public in a friendly and professional manner.
You will provide administrative support to all parts the Housing Options which will enable the successful applicant to widen your knowledge and experience across a range of different and interesting specialist areas within Housing.
Team work is essential to the delivery of the service and the successful applicant will need to possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience of using office related IT systems is required although training will be provided to the successful applicant.
