The Council’s Housing Services are looking for a Neighbourhood Ranger for a 6 month temporary contract.


The job involves working as part of a busy team and dealing with members of the public and other council services to ensure blocks of flats and open land are safe, clean and clear of rubbish.

To do the job, you must be:

Customer focused with excellent interpersonal and communication skills as working with the community is a key part of the job
Self-organised
Able to work without close supervision and to be able to prioritise tasks
Able to use appropriate ICT
Able to maintain detailed and accurate records
The post involves walking around areas of land and climbing stairs
You must have a drivers licence as you will drive a work vehicle
