Office Manager/Accounts Administrator - Sheffield

Role: Office Manager/Accounts Administrator

Salary: up to £21K DOE

Location: Sheffield

Our client are an award winning creative agency.

The role:

 Fronting reception, including welcoming visitors to the premises
 Organising lunches and drinks for client meetings
 Answering and routing incoming telephone calls
 Ordering of stationery and materials
 Managing the daily post
 Credit control and basic cash flow
 Processing invoices and supplier payments
 Receiving and checking deliveries
 Supporting the accountant as required

The successful candidate:

The ideal candidate will be an organised person, who enjoys resolving problems and likes to see things running smoothly and efficiently. You will be proactive, IT literate, and keen to learn new systems. You will have a good understanding of business finance, and be confident to deal with senior management and external companies. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a minimum of supervision, have an excellent telephone manner, and be capable of prioritising tasks in order to meet deadlines.

Essential Skills

 GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or above in both English and Maths
 Competent user of Microsoft Word & Excel (to be tested at interview)
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Proactive approach to work and ability to stick to given procedures
 Good understanding of business finance
 Previous financial administration experience

Desirable Skills

 Experience of Xero Accounting Software
 Understanding of creative and digital industries
