Business Development Manager - National role based in Rotherham

Role: Business Development Manager

Salary/Package: up to £35K DOE plus car allowance plus uncapped commission scheme

Location: National role based from Rotherham

Our client are an innovative and award winning business.

The role:

To develop new opportunities and gain new customers and sales in line with the company strategy. Working closely with the sales team and management, having input to developing tactics to deliver the company strategy. Developing relationships with potential clients and communicating effectively to the business to meet both the customer requirements and the needs of the business. Delivering sales from new customers in line with target and margin expectations.
Duties will include, but aren't limited to:
Create target lists of prospect customers
Establish contract and arrange meetings
Present company information and set appropriate follow up actions
Check for suitable tender PQQ's
Compile and submit the tender in the specified timeframe
Obtaining prices and sending in appropriate format to the client

The successful candidate:

The successful candidate will be experienced in generating new business accounts (ideally valued between £250k to £3m) for managed communication services such as commercial print, web-to-print, hybrid mail, direct mail, digital, inbound, fulfilment, transactional print, point of sale, data analytics. You will be target driven and relationship led in your approach. You will be in a commutable distance from the Rotherham site as you will be required to work from the office at certain points during the week.
