Role: Infrastructure Manager
Salary: up to £50K, DOE

As the Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of our clients infrastructure in the UK and EU, and provide support to the US as required by the business.
You will provide expertise in network infrastructure, security, change management, policy and development. You will be responsible for maintaining a highly available, redundant and secure IT infrastructure, ensuring that the integrity of the IT architecture is maintained and improved to meet the growing needs of the organisation. This role will cover & interface with all business areas, across multiple countries:
Additionally, you will:
Work with the Director of IT & Infrastructure, develop and implement the company’s IT strategy with focus on business continuity, information security, operational delivery & support of the sales effort
Maintain and manage a central repository of Information Security questionnaire responses for customer requests and review responses in full before they’re sent to customers
Maintain a view of future technologies that will keep us ahead of regulation & competition
Undertake risk management and contingency planning including disaster recovery & business continuity
Manage multiple IT projects and support multiple business change projects
Develop & manage core and mission critical systems ensuring maximum up-time including monitoring of utility & backup power systems (generators and UPS systems)
Working with the Director of IT & Infrastructure and Data Protection Officer, support the delivery of key information & data security initiatives (e.g. GDPR, ISO27001)
Maintain measurable service levels that support the needs of the business
Participate in a 24/7 “on-call” presence supporting critical business operations
Lead & deliver key IT project initiatives, future proofing the needs of the business
Support equipment & product design translating into the IT infrastructure
The successful candidate:
Educated to degree standard in Computer Science, Information technology or equivalent job experience
CISM / CISSP certification or relevant equivalents
Exceptional technical knowledge: Office 365/Exchange, Hyper-V/VMware, desktop provisioning & support, network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, internet (SIP) & servers, WiFi; VoIP; SQL, information security and endpoint security for servers, desktop & mobile devices
Excellent leadership, people management, communication and documentation skills. Should be comfortable presenting to managers, architects, stakeholders, and customers as needed.
Security industry experience a distinct advantage
Mission critical facilities, central station or call center experience including media gateways / interface equipment essential
Delivered IT projects within a technically complex and dynamic environment
Able to demonstrate strong management skills including project management, financial management, change management and facilitation
Must be able to thrive in a high-pressure environment and be capable of self-motivation
Demonstrable evidence of how you have effectively communicated with others is essential
Adaptable and positive when faced with change
Calm and rational when facing a technically complex and fast changing environment
Tenacious and self-motivated maintaining a delivery focus with multiple deadlines
Clean driving license & ability to fly essential due to company’s international footprint
Security management & ISO 27001 compliance experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
