Role: Temporary Sales Co-ordinator

Hourly Rate: £9-£11 per hour depending on experience

Assignment Duration: Initially around 6 weeks with possible extension

Location: Sheffield

Our client are a leading manufacturers of power equipment & switchgear including electrical wholesaler chain networks

The role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, customer focused self starter to join a unique business. Following a change in the UK legislation, a huge window has opened for their products and services; this is the driver for all new business with the strength of a government directive behind you, selling is somewhat easier.

Duties include

 New business development
 A quantity of calls per day will be expected
 Personal and financial targets will be set and must be reached
 Research and self development including internet research into new customers.
 Handling customer calls and emails
 Responding to questions and queries liaising with the internal technical engineer
 Preparing quotations
 Quotation follow up calls
 Negotiating with customers to secure orders
 Managing the electrical wholesaler network of existing clients and targeting new customers
 The role is in-house based with some customer visits
 Full training in the industry and its equipment will be given
 Some visit to customers and associated business will be required

The successful candidate:

We are looking for candidates who have the following skills and attributes

 Ideally, at least 1 year experience in a sales office
 Must be driven to obtain sales and develop business via the telephone
 Focusing on attaining an excellent package and great career start
 GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English grades A-C
 An enthusiastic person with a can do attitude able to work on own initiative.
 Excellent communication skills.
 Methodical, organised with ability to prioritise.
 Computer literate (Ideally Microsoft Office and Dynamics CRM)
 Accurate with good attention to detail.
 Able to manage and respond to multiple issues at once whilst meeting deadlines.
 To develop a team with the management of this team being responsible to the successful candidate of this role
