Business Development Manager - Rotherham
Role: Business Development Manager
Salary: Up to £30K DOE plus uncapped commission scheme
Our client have over 60 years experience in their field and are built a fantastic reputation for both quality and service.
As part of their ambitious growth plans they are looking to expand our sales team.
As a new business generator you will seek new potential business clients that fit their ideal customer profile. They have a marketing strategy that has been implemented to support the sales team and work towards warming leads up to the ‘sales ready’ status. Marketing support will be provided as part of your training, but a basic awareness will give you a head start.
You’ll need to work cohesively with the marketing team. You must have an understanding of a range of channels that can be used to engage with clients. You must be confident using social media channels and sustain an ‘active’ social presence.
This role deals with both inbound and outbound, you will need to be comfortable and confident interacting with clients over the phone and leading the conversation.
The key role responsibilities will include:
Business-to-Business lead generation and sales prospecting
Outbound Cold calling, gathering sales intelligence, handling objections
Manage own workload/call backs via KPI’s (Key performance indicators)
Dealing with marketing teams from officer to director level
The successful candidate:
They are looking for an enthusiastic and goal driven individual. You will be a highly driven sales person, with a consultative and intelligent sales approach. Any account management experience is also desirable. You will have a full driving licence.
