What is the role?
Based at the Hawke Street facility in Sheffield, Gripple Automation offers bespoke design and build of machines to improve manufacturing processes and significantly improve performance.
This hands-on role in the design, modification and development of automated machinery involves working closely with production, engineering, customers and suppliers. With an understanding of regulatory requirements you will continuously apply innovative thought to ensure our design services offer maximum value to our customers. A high level of commercial awareness is key to ensure cost effective design solutions are delivered on time and in full.
Who you are
The ideal candidate should have at least three years’ experience in electrical design and as a minimum, an HNC/HND/degree qualification in a relevant discipline. To be selected for interview you must also:
• have experience in the design of automation in a manufacturing environment
• have experience of working with pneumatics and robotics
• have experience of producing technical documentation in accordance with the machinery directive and associated standards.
• possess a high level of attention to detail with excellent communication skills
• be able to demonstrate exceptional drive and initiative
• have a full driving licence
