We are now recruiting a packing operative to join the operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, hard working person who is capable of working both as part of a team and on their own to join one of the manufacturing sector’s most exciting and progressive companies.

What is the role?

Based at The Riverside Works, your main task will be to bag and pack orders for our growing range of products in a small, busy and focused team. This is a demanding role, so energy and enthusiasm are crucial.

The position will entail working regular mornings and afternoons Monday to Friday. Night shift and weekend work may also be required to meet the demands of the business and a flexible, ‘can do’ attitude is therefore paramount. The company embraces lean manufacturing so you must be someone who relishes working in an environment where continuous improvement is the norm, not the exception.

Who you are

The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar role. To be selected for interview you must have:

• excellent attention to detail
• an ability to work independently and to use your own initiative
• self-motivation to work in a fast-paced, busy department
• good organisational skills and an ability to prioritise
• excellent team working skills
• a willingness to learn
• a flexible, ‘can do’ approach
• good computer skills
