At Irwin Mitchell LLP we are currently recruiting for an exciting position as an IT Resource Analyst, working within Service Delivery and Portfolio Delivery as part of the wider IT team. Your role will be to coordinate IT Technical Resources as well as to allocate and track resource demands for current and future workloads across the IT function for both internal and external IT staff.

In your role as IT Resource Analyst, you will use your experience to support an effective and robust Resource Management process for IT, ensuring all resourcing activity is managed through one single point of contact.
The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator who excels in a team environment. You will work collaboratively to support the ongoing develop, maintenance and effective use of Resource plans as well as working with the Resource Manager to embed and follow the Prioritisation Model within IT to ensure continuous improvement. You will also work to co-ordinate smart sourcing for additional or temporary resources if and when required.
You must be able to demonstrate strong planning and organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Using these skills, you will ensure that resource schedules are kept updated and accurate whilst also ensuring the departments’ capabilities are regularly captured and updated with the skills matrix tools. Using the Resource Management Mailbox, you will keep track and monitor requirements, ensuring these are subsequently actioned in a timely manner.
Drawing upon your professional experience, you will demonstrate strong administrative skills gained in an office environment, supporting the assessment and planning of the Technical Resource requirements across the IT function.
You will have a strong educational background and whilst not essential, being degree qualified or holding a relevant PM qualification (ITIL, Prince2) would be preferable. You will be expected to maintain a detailed knowledge of Resource Plans in order to effectively contribute to your team and foster a method of continuous improvement.
