Experienced in operating machines in a high volume production environment you will be required to produce spring units to the right specification and quality standards Previous mechanical machine experience as a minimum, but ideally CNC machine operating experience. Also experience with hand tools and fine checking / measuring would be an advantage. You will be required to produce spring units to the right specification and quality standards. You should have a good working knowledge of Health and Safety, housekeeping procedures, and quality processes. More importantly you should possess a positive, can do attitude with the willingness to learn

To communicate with other employees in the dept, particularly at shift changeover, discussing work related issues and progress.
To operate the allocated equipment in a safe manner and within the safety guidelines of the company.
To operate the equipment to the LP9000 quality systems and controls, ensuring that all products are manufactured to specification and within tolerance.
Must be capable of making minor adjustments to the machine, to ensure correct specification of product is achieved.

To report mechanical or electrical faults (as necessary) to the maintenance team
Responsible for high standard of housekeeping in his/her area of work
Responsible for implementing, improving, maintaining and compliance with all work place standards in every area.
Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities related to product, process and/or the system.
Identify and/or record any problems relating to the product, process and the management system.
Completion of all documentation in full
Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
Verify the implementation of solutions.
Control further processing, delivery or installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
Eradicate or minimise all scrap / waste at all times.
