The role of Building Manager is varied and demanding. You will have responsibility for the day to day running of the Head Office. You will be expected to manage, support and inspire a small team and to ensure that Head Office customers are receiving high levels of customer service in a quality environment.

Key elements of the role include overall responsibility for maintenance, daytime spot cleaning, and tenant coordination for the whole building as well as ensuring that all services are provided to a consistently high standard, assisting the Facilities Management team in all areas required to meet the needs of both the business and customers.

You must have outstanding customer service skills and be organised, responsible and efficient, In addition, you should have some financial management experience as you will be expected to manage the Head Office operational budget.

This role will also take responsibility for ensuring the building and its tenants comply with our requirements under Health & Safety Legislation, carrying our regular building inspections and audits

If so, do you have the qualities?
As Building Manager, you should be educated to degree standard or equivalent, and achieved IOSH Managing Safely certification with previous experience within a building or operations management environment as well as experience of managing people and team leadership are an essential requirement for this role

In additional to demonstrating the above, you will also need to be able to hit the ground running but more important is your determination, positive attitude and the desire to be part of a winning team.
