We are seeking an experienced, commercially-focused and dynamic Marketing Manager. This role will work closely with the Senior Management Team and Sales department to meet ambitious growth targets through successful lead generation, the creation of new business opportunities and the building of brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities of the role

• Work with the Senior Management Team to create both short and long-term marketing strategies to provide the sales team with adequate and consistent leads
• Take full responsibility for implementation of strategy, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting
• Line Management of SEO Executive and Marketing Assistant
• Undertake regular analysis of marketing campaigns, advertising, SEO & Website to ensure targeted lead generation is attained and the correct medium is being used
• Work with the SEO Executive to ensure website content maximises business opportunities
• Review and update marketing collateral including presentations, flyers and core website content
• Create content as required for campaigns, sourcing and performance managing external suppliers as required
• Ensure that ROI is measured for every campaign and that measurements are in place for every piece of marketing activity
• Manage a schedule for regular marketing output including promotional emails, long term social media schedules and blog content
• Undertake competitor analysis and benchmarking; Monitoring and observing competitor activity and strategy to measure their strengths and weaknesses and gain insight into our own, proactively suggesting new ideas
• Monitor marketing trends and proactively suggesting new formats
• Understand the services suite and customer profiles and plan marketing activities accordingly
Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a B2B Marketing environment, ideally some of which spent working for a small business
• Proven experience in implementing successful marketing campaigns
• Confident in content creation for online marketing
• The ability to take initiative and lead a strategy
• Analytical and inherently commercial
• Degree level education or equivalent experience or CIM qualification
