Sue Ross Recruitment are working exclusively with a leading international engineering company in the recruitment of a Part-time HR Administrator.

Based from their European HQ in Sheffield (S9 area) you will work closely and support the Group HR Manager.

Based from their European HQ in Sheffield (S9 area) you will work closely and support the Group HR Manager.

Duties include:

•Recruitment: Undertake general recruitment administration in particular during busy recruitment periods / or at such times when the HR Advisor is absent from the business / requires additional support;
•New Starters: Undertake general new starter administration as required, inc. collating new starter packs and distributing as required, setting up hard / electronic files, liaising with IT to ensure new IT accounts are set up and maintaining internal tracker information etc;
•Leavers: Undertake general leaver administration as required, inc. transferring personnel information from current to past (hard copy file and electronic records), liaising with IT to ensure all applicable IT accounts are cancelled, removing from relevant org charts and maintaining internal tracker information etc;
•Attendance Reporting: Undertake general administration to ensure accurate records are maintained, inc. recording employee holidays, sickness absence and other leave, maintaining electronic records, monitoring & raising any areas of concern to the Group HRM;
•Employee Relations: Undertake general administration as necessary, inc. produce standard letters as requested, support case work as required, and maintain internal tracker information;
•Support the implementation of HR systems or databases; enter data and maintain these accordingly;
•Prepare, as required, management reports on employee-related data to assist with the management and development of staff; •Create and maintain reports, spreadsheets, databases and correspondence using a variety of computer packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint;
•Maintain HR / Group-wide intranet documents and ensure information is kept up to date;
•Coordinate Group website updates / news in conjunction with Group HRM, Group Company MDs and Marketing Teams;
•Provide dedicated support to Group charity fundraising initiatives;
•Ensure stock and replenishment of stationery & kitchen / refreshment requirements + undertake regular checks on Atlas Site Meeting Room facilities, cleanliness and presentation;
•Provide general administration support to the HR department as required including project admin, filing, telephone answering, scanning, photocopying and emails;
•Ensure excellent inter-company and inter-departmental working relationships;

Other Administrative tasks will include: -
•Provide administrative support to the Group Corporate Finance Function;
- undertake general administration as required to support Group pension processes
- credit card admin
- invoice admin, recording, cross referencing & querying where anomalies identified
- monitoring expense claims
•Support the Group Admin Services Coordinator with travel and accommodation arrangements (UK & International) across the Group, exp. during periods of leave / peak times etc.
•Support the Group Admin Services Coordinator with Company Car Policy & Fleet Management responsibilities when needed, exp. during periods of leave / peak times etc.

The role is part-time working 4 days per week – one of the days must be a Friday.
