Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a Sheffield based charitable organisation who are looking to recruit a candidate ideally from a medical administration background, to provide administrative support to their team of Community Nurses for a fixed period of 12 months working part-time.

Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a Sheffield based charitable organisation who are looking to recruit a candidate ideally from a medical administration background, to provide administrative support to their team of Community Nurses for a fixed period of 12 months working part-time.

Key duties will include:

• Acting as the first point of contact for all enquiries to the nursing team
• Ensuring and aiding the smooth communication of information between the nursing team, other departments and external parties
• Extensively using inhouse systems effectively
• Generating reports as required
• Liaising with nurses
• Evolving and improving processes
• Contacting patients to make appointments
• Inputting large amounts of data onto inhouse systems accurately
• Liaising with other departments and external agencies as necessary
• Maintaining accurate and up to date records
• Dealing with patient notes
• Adhering to strict confidentiality, policies and procedures
• Ensuring the accurate and timely flow of information


Experience of working in a health care setting would be highly advantageous as a level of relevant medical knowledge will essential when triaging enquires and appointments appropriately. Due to the nature of the organisation, you must be able to display a professional yet caring attitude. Creating strong relationships is key, as is displaying an approachable and friendly manner at all times. The ability to prioritise effectively, utilise decision-making skills and use initiative is absolutely essential.
