In this role you will have a particular focus on helping to grow support from schools and local community groups, including helping to set up new volunteer fundraising groups, researching existing groups to approach and delivering school fundraising activities. You will also support the Community Fundraising Manager and other colleagues to effectively recruit, steward and manage fundraising event volunteers as well as empowering local groups and associations to lead their own fundraising collections and events.

You will be responsible for representing the charity at fundraising events and community talks (i.e. school assemblies etc) – therefore you must be confident presenting to groups.

Applicants must have experience of working to sales or fundraising targets. You will be a first class communicator and ideally have events planning experience together with voluntary sector experience.
