We are currently working with a public sector organisation who are looking to fill several roles within their Procurement department. You will ultimately report to and support the Procurement & Supply Chain Managers working in the heart of a vibrant and dynamic Supply Chain Team. This is a fixed term Contract until May 2019.

We are currently working with a public sector organisation who are looking to fill several roles within their Procurement department. You will ultimately report to and support the Procurement & Supply Chain Managers working in the heart of a vibrant and dynamic Supply Chain Team. This is a fixed term Contract until May 2019.
The role will include:
• Development of procurement strategies
• Tender documentation and dealing with commercial contracts in accordance with the current Standing Orders and Public Procurement Regulations
• Additional key supply chain activities will include Market Reviews, Benchmarking Exercises and Soft Market Testing.
This role will best suit an individual who is innovative, organised and energetic. A level of commercial acumen is essential and the successful candidates will be given the opportunity to develop their professional procurement skills further. An analytical bias to your CV might be useful but essentially you will have a full understanding and working background within a senior Buying role.
