Due to continued growth, they are now recruiting for a Business Development Manager. The role ranges from building new business avenues to innovation solutions engineering where tech and AI play a pivotal role. This is a great opportunity to take on a varied role combining service delivery, client management, financial and commercial management, as well as the opportunity to drive innovation.

Key responsibilities
• Revenue generation from new primarily large corporate clients with long-term repeat business potential
• Proactively identify client challenges and problems, and guide them through the resolution
• Navigate through corporate structure to identify key decision makers and buyers
• Prepare sales pitches and tenders at the point of order generation
• Negotiation of contractual terms such as service level and price point
• Service delivery and contract management
• Sales pipeline creation and maintenance with revenue projections
• Issue management
• Project risk assessment
Skills & experience
• Confidence in making decisions and taking the lead in presenting customised solutions to clients considering the wider business context and client personality
• Experience in service management functions for large-scale, time-critical and complex services
• Ability to positively influence clients’ perception
• Track record of managing within a line or collaborative team structure, balancing priorities and keeping focus on quality and timely delivery
• Experience in the management of margins and resources
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills at all levels with clients, suppliers and colleagues
• Strong planning, analytical and organisational skills
• Personal drive to deliver results and meet objectives
• Focus on continual service improvement
• Good commercial awareness with an emphasis on building trust and long terms relationships
