The successful candidate will be an integral part of a small team, providing support and assistance with the day to day operations of the HR functions and duties.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of a small team, providing support and assistance with the day to day operations of the HR functions and duties.

You will be working at the UK Head Office of this multi-site organisation and this is a truly great opportunity to build experience in an HR environment with a solid team structure. As well as a track-record working within a HR environment you will also have a HR based qualification.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the recruitment process and ensuring all files and HR databases are maintained and accurate
• Liaising with Line Managers, candidates and any recruitment agencies
• Managing the new starter process
• Writing adverts and liaising with external agencies
• Track probation periods and absences, and co-ordinating review paperwork
• Reporting, and corresponding with updates between teams, ensuring information is up to date and the reports are sent to their overseas Head Office
• Providing administration assistance as required for disciplinary & grievance activity, including taking notes at disciplinary meetings
• Being responsible for the benefits programs
• Managing the Leaver process
• Providing assistance with front of house duties and general support to Line Managers and Senior Management

Demonstrating attention to detail, the right candidate will have excellent written and verbal Communication Skills, be results driven and adaptable, and have the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Organised, with strong IT skills, especially Excel, you will work with a high level of integrity, and function well within a team as well as on your own initiative. This is a fantastic role for someone who has had exposure within a HR environment and who is looking to develop further.
