Sue Ross Recruitment currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our client, a successful charity in Sheffield on an ongoing temporary basis with the possibility of it becoming permanent. This is a great role, working within a dynamic Finance team.

Sue Ross Recruitment currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our client, a successful charity in Sheffield on an ongoing temporary basis with the possibility of it becoming permanent. This is a great role, working within a dynamic Finance team.

Duties and responsibilities will involve:

• Dealing with accounting queries
• Raising monthly bacs payments
• Purchase and Sales ledgers
• Reconciling payroll journals
• Generating reports
• Performing account reconciliations
• Inputting and issuing employee expenses
• Dealing with petty cash


The ideal candidate will have previous experience performing reconciliations of multiple bank accounts and maintaining purchase and sales ledgers. Strong experience with Excel is advantageous.
