Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a Sheffield based charitable organisation who are looking to recruit a candidate, to provide administrative support to their Fundraising Team for a fixed period of 12 months on either a full time or part time basis.

Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a Sheffield based charitable organisation who are looking to recruit a candidate, to provide administrative support to their Fundraising Team for a fixed period of 12 months on either a full time or part time basis.

Key duties will include:

• Researching grant opportunities
• Contacting various grant funding organisations
• Summitting grant applications
• Managing relationships with existing grant funders
• Ensuring all information on the database is correct
• Developing and writing reports
• Providing regular progress of reports to the fundraising team
• Dealing with emails and phone calls
• Producing fundraising materials
• Providing training and mentoring to volunteers
• General administration as required



Experience of working in a charity would be highly advantageous. Due to the nature of the organisation, you must be able to display a professional yet caring attitude. Creating strong relationships is key, as is displaying an approachable and friendly manner at all times. The ability to prioritise effectively, utilise decision-making skills and use initiative is absolutely essential.
