Sue Ross Recruitment are delighted to be working with a Sheffield based charitable organisation who are recruiting an Administrator to provide clerical care to the supporters of the charity. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with an approachable and friendly manner, with the ability to build strong relationships and use social media platforms efficiently.
Key duties will include:
• Inputting and processing incoming donations, payments and financial information
• Writing tailored acknowledgement and thank you letters to Supporters of the charity
• Maintaining the database and recording donations
• Assisting with event registrations
• Performing general office duties, such as opening and processing post
Experience in a fundraising department or voluntary sector organisation would be advantageous, along with knowledge of using large databases. You will be responsible for ensuring that supporters are properly thanked and will have experience of producing written correspondence to a high standard. You should be able to use Excel to an advanced level. This is a wonderful opportunity to work for a well-established charity, and the successful candidate will be compassionate and committed to upholding the organisations values. An awareness of Gift Aid rules and processes would also be beneficial but is not essential.
