Sue Ross Recruitment are currently working with a not for profit based organisation are currently looking to recruit a Corporate Fundraising Officer to work closely with the Head of Major Giving taking responsibility for maximising existing relationships through excellent account management and you will identify new income opportunities. The role will incorporate mainly; corporate sponsorship, corporate membership and community partnerships and you will be responsible for reaching or exceeding financial targets through sustainable income streams, and acting as a personal port of call for key contacts.

Sue Ross Recruitment are currently working with a not for profit based organisation are currently looking to recruit a Corporate Fundraising Officer to work closely with the Head of Major Giving taking responsibility for maximising existing relationships through excellent account management and you will identify new income opportunities. The role will incorporate mainly; corporate sponsorship, corporate membership and community partnerships and you will be responsible for reaching or exceeding financial targets through sustainable income streams, and acting as a personal port of call for key contacts.

This is a full time role but will include some evenings and weekends including occasional travel throughout the UK. This is a thoroughly hands on role and as such you must have previous experience within this sector. Key responsibilities will involve:
• Managing and maintaining positive relationships with existing corporate sponsors and members and identifying opportunities for engaging with new sponsors.
• Identifying and researching income opportunities
• Development and sale of sponsorship plans relating to new and existing events specifically to include the Annual Conference.
• Championing the work of charity to engage and support sponsors.
• Database maintenance
• Developing and implementing a marketing plan to maximise corporate memberships.
• Creating materials, reports and other information to provide corporate members with details of how their membership helps people
• Working with the Fundraising Administrator to support the ongoing administration of corporate memberships.
• Engage with existing corporate partners to develop staff engagement programmes.
• Working with ‘high street’ brands that have a synergy with the organisation through branch level and head office interactions.

As an active member of the Fundraising Team you will provide regular progress reports to the Head of Major Giving, Head of Individual Giving and wider fundraising team, detailing accurate figures and statistical targets and progress. You will have excellent record keeping and administration skills and pay a proactive role in developing new fundraising campaigns and assist in their ongoing promotion. The charity offers a helpline service and all employees assist with answering these calls as required.
