Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a Health & Safety Consultancy located in Rotherham. They offer professional face to face Health and Safety advice to a large client base, ranging from medical engineering in Leeds to Airline & Event Catering in London.

This is an exciting development opportunity for a motivated individual. The successful candidate will receive one on one training from a highly experienced, close knit team. As well as funded training to get you to the required industry standard. You will be part of a growing business which intends to maintain its growth by ensuring you are developed to maintain our extremely high standards. Your personal development will be addressed at regular intervals to ensure you grow with the company. As you take on more responsibility there will be good opportunities for progression within the company.
Travel is essential and working away is required for longer distance clients. Travel, accommodation and food expenses are included when working away.
Duties include:
Provide competent Health and Safety Advice to a range of clients.
Provide Training and guidance.
To co-ordinate, support and advise clients on all aspects with regards to Health and Safety.
To establish, manage and monitor standards, processes, communications, training and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with Health and Safety are adhered to.
To implement and review a Safety Management Systems

Key candidate requirements:
Driven & self motivated - Day to day, you will be your own boss, therefore you will need to be comfortable working on our own and be responsible for your own results.
Punctual & well organised - Being responsible for the management of your own diary, you will have to liaise with clients to set up meeting and ensure you turn up reliably.
Have good communication skills - You will be responsible for communicating with people at all levels within a business, right up to Director level.
Flexible - With clients the length and breadth of the UK you will often be required to travel. However we do try to limit time away from home to no more than 50% of your working month.
Basic ICT skills - Understanding of Microsoft office is acceptable.
Able to travel - Full UK driving licence with access to your own transport
