Sue Ross Recruitment have a fantastic HR opportunity working for a leading national healthcare company. Based from their Sheffield site, you will have sole day to day responsibility for all HR matters, working closely with all Department Heads and Directors.

Duties and responsibilities:

Provide all recruitment administration support
Ensure all criminal record checks are carried out fully and in a timely manner
Manage the new joiner process from offer letter contracts and referencing through to joining instructions and induction
Provide all statutory training administration support
Handle maternity, paternity, adoption and parental leave processes and queries
Administer the performance management system
Support the managers with the appraisal process
Manage the professional registration database ensuring all registrations are up to date
Enter data into the HR system so that accurate records are maintained
Provide data for and prepare management information reports
Manage the absence recording system
Manage the holiday recording system
Administer the probationary review periods
Maintain and develop the personnel filing system
Manage the leaver administration process
Provide administrative support in investigations for disciplinary and grievance procedures
Attend SMT and management team meetings as and when required and present up to date HR status reports with case load and projects
Champion Group led initiatives at a local level
Provide HR administration support to the HR Business Partner
First line of support for managers in Employee Relations cases
Carry out any other reasonable ad hoc duties in order to support the HR department and compliancy


Skills and abilities

Applicants will ideally be in an HR Assistant or Administration role at present and looking for the next step in their career. This is a busy, hands on and varied role therefore it’s an excellent opportunity to propel your career in HR. Although this is stand alone, you will have the full support of the Regional HR Business Partner at all times.
