Sue Ross Recruitment have an exciting, high profile opportunity for a Learning & Development Training Manager to join a fast-growing and extremely forward thinking company to be based in their prestigious City Centre offices. The role is to cover a period of maternity and will be for an initial duration of 9 months however there is a possibility of the role becoming permanent. Working within the fast-paced HR team, you will be an ambitious and motivated innovator, designing and implementing the development agenda to the highest standards.

The role is to cover a period of maternity and will be for an initial duration of 9 months however there is a possibility of the role becoming permanent. Working within the fast-paced HR team, you will be an ambitious and motivated innovator, designing and implementing the development agenda to the highest standards.
For this fantastic role, you must be prepared to travel and work between two sites, Sheffield and London, on a 35 hour flexible working week. You will be dealing with the learning and development of two areas; the commercial side of the business, and all management development.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
• Creating and delivering engaging development plans for individuals and teams, from presentations and group training sessions to one to one mentoring and e-learning
• Upskilling Managers
• Liaising with third party suppliers regarding external training
• Using psychometrics and people data to get the most suitable candidate fit
• Conducting training needs analysis, addressing gaps to drive performance
• Ensuring a seamless transition from induction to ‘high performing’ for all sales staff
• Performing as a role model to drive world class engagement scores

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of the design and delivery of management and leadership development and training, and have proven experience in a similar role at this level. A highly organised facilitator with knowledge of a broad array of training and strong planning and scheduling skills, you will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for learning, development and helping others.
